Tennis Lesson Policies and Procedures
Enrollment: Players can register for tennis classes online at www.TennisCoachDave.com
or by calling (214) 733-5810. A message instructing new students to the program not to register online,
will be posted on the TennisCoachDave.com main page if classes are filled. Players will be put on a
waiting list for the next available opening. Tennis classes at the Beach and Tennis Club are available
to Stonebridge Ranch Homeowners only.
All players who are currently enrolled in tennis classes will automatically be enrolled
in the next session unless notice is given by e-mail one week in advance. Players must
choose in advance the days of the week they are planning to attend class.
Tuition: Tuition for after school tennis classes is due during the first week of
each session. A session consists of 4 weeks. For summer tennis camps, tuition is due prior
to the registration deadline posted on this website.
Tuition can be paid online, by check or cash on the first day of class. A $25.00 late fee
will be charged if tuition is not paid by the end of the first week of each session
during the school year. NO REFUNDS or credits unless a player is injured.
Discounts: Families with 3 or more children enrolled in tennis classes pay only
half price for the youngest child. Any player who enrolls in more than two tennis camps
during the summer months may also take a 10% discount.
Make-up days: Tennis classes can only be made up on Friday if class is cancelled due
to inclement weather or if McKinney ISD is not in session. Make up days will only be
permitted due to sickness. Arrangements to attend a class on another day should be
made within 48 hours of that class.
Inclement weather: Around 40 degrees is the scale we use to cancel classes depending
on the weather conditions of the day in question. Classes may also be cancelled if there is a
low wind-chill factor. If you are uncertain as to whether classes will be held or not due to
inclement weather, a message will be posted on www.TennisCoachDave.com ½ hour before class time. If classes are canceled due to inclement weather, classes will be held on Friday at their regular class time unless a message is posted on www.TennisCoachDave.com instructing players to come to a different class time. Always check the message board prior to Friday classes.
Attire: Players should dress for tennis. Shorts, tennis skirts, t-shirts, warm-ups
etc. (no jeans). Players should wear a tennis cap, visor and/or sunglasses. Academy
players should have their tennis bag, running shoes and a water jug with their name on it.
Viewing classes: Parents, friends and family, please stay outside the tennis
courts while viewing classes. It is a distraction to players and tennis coaches when
parents are in the court area.
